Brad's Story
Born & raised in Iowa, I'm a lifelong Hawkeyes fan (and current season ticket holder). I married my high school sweetheart, Christy, and together, we have two kids—Liam and Hudson.
Throughout my life, faith has played a significant role. Not long after seeing the positive impact my youth pastor had on my life, I decided to follow a similar path in college. Essentially, I wanted to do for others what was done for myself.
While I left one class short of graduating, I ended up serving as a youth pastor for 18 months. I quickly realized that it wasn't the best career path, but rather an outlet to spend time volunteering.
(This passion evolved into the Fiat Family Foundation)
Since ministry wasn't the end game, there had to be another route...
Enter: The world of finance
In 2006, I joined Ameriprise never having been an advisor before.
I fell in love helping people with their finances because similar to receiving guidance in my faith, I could've used the same help with my personal finances.
After a short stint in the "corporate" financial planning space, I launched Fiat Wealth Management in 2009.
Later I sold my shares and went back to a 9-5 as a wholesaler.
Then, nine years later in 2019, I bought my shares back and on January 1st 2020, FiatWM was established in the version you see it today.
